October 24, 2011 UMM Cross Country All-conference runners Paige Wiechman & Meagan Norman were awarded all-conference honors this past weekend at the Yankee Small College Conference Championships. Paige Wiechman also ran away (intentional pun) with runner of the year for the YSCC!
October 11, 2011 Paige Wiechman finishes 2nd! Wiechman's 5k time of 21:05 earned her 2nd place at the Saint Joseph's College meet!
October 3, 2011 Wiechman coasts to 1st place at Unity College Paige was able to capture her second 1st place medal at the Unity College meet. She dominated the field with a 32 second lead over the next closest runner, with a great time of 20:32 for the 5 K race! She & the rest of the lady Clippers cross country team took home 2nd place as a team, finishing behind a strong Colby College squad.
September 12, 2011 Wiechman Wins Another Medal It may not have been 1st place this time, but Paige Wiechman won a 5th place medal in a field of 93 women at the University of New England meet.
September 8, 2011 UMM's Paige Wiechman receives honors of USCAA National Player of the Week UMM women's cross country stand out runner, Paige Wiechman, took 1st place at the University of Maine at Farmington meet! The dominating performance was recognized by the USCAA by selecting Paige as the Nation Player of the Week!
May 23, 2011 MDI's Folsom Signs with Women's XC MACHIAS, Maine -- Hannah Folsom of Isleford, Maine, has signed a letter of intent with the University of Maine at Machias Women's Cross Country team. Folsom is a graduate of Mount Desert Island High School, where she participated in cross country and track and field.
May 13, 2011 Ohio Standout Signs with Clippers XC MACHIAS, Maine -- The University of Maine at Machias' Women's Cross Country team has signed Paige Wiechman, from Fremont, Ohio, to a letter of intent to run for the Clippers this fall.
