Women’s Basketball Suffers First Conference Loss

The Clippers traveled to Augusta on Tuesday and suffered their first conference loss, falling short 68-43 to the UMA Moose. Jamie Plummer led the Moose in scoring and assists, attributing 25 total points. Alicen Brooks scored the most for the Clippers, putting up 17 points. The Clippers were outrebounded 20 to 38. They'll face off again in Machias on February 2nd. The women's team moves to 4-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play. They're now placed third in the YSCC conference.
