Lady Clippers Hang Tough But Fall Short

The Lady Clippers hosted the University of Maine at Augusta this afternoon. It was a very loud crowd for the home team today. It was a battle the entire way through. UMM held a halftime lead of 38-37. Great energy off the bench for UMM, from Emma LeGallais, Ashley Beam, and Meagan Cope. Caroline Proctor had her second double double of the season with 10 points 15 rebounds. Vanessa Patterson played with all heart chipping in with 16 points 13 rebounds. Emma LeGallais led the Lady Clippers with 19 points off the bench today. Jasmine Plummer for U Maine Augusta led the Moose with 24 points 8 rebounds.  Jennifer Lola also showed great energy providing 16 points 12 rebounds. This game was decided in the final minute with UMA holding on to a 79-73 final score. Both teams played great on both ends of the floor. The Lady Clippers will travel to Bangor tomorrow to play EMCC at noon. GO CLIPPERS!
