Kayla Wood scores 1000th career point to help Clippers defeat NHTI
Wood, a senior education major came into the game needing 6pts and scored 21pts to go along with 6 assists. She was followed by Becca young with 13pts 9 rebounds, Myra McPherson with 13pts, and Dana Houghton with 11pts and 9 rebounds. Wood has been a captain for two years and a part of the program for four years. Kayla lives in Machiasport, Maine and chose to stay close to home to play her college ball. She is the daughter of Gary and Tammy Wood. Congratulations Kayla from your coach and teammates. The lady Clippers return to action on Wednesday night to play a tough UMA team.
