Clippers earn a homecoming win

(Machias, ME)  The Clippers earned a 4-0 victory today in front of their homecoming crowd.  Freshman Tyler Pelletier put the Clippers in the lead in the 28th minute when he ran onto a ball that Jakob Jordon played a ball through.  EMCC held the Clippers to one goal in the first half despite the Clippers having 20 shots on goal. 

In the second half, Kris Wignes put the Clippers ahead by two when Patrick Zahui played him a ball at the top of the box and he put it past the EMCC keeper.  Tyler Pelletier and Stefan Zalucky rounded out the scoring on the day.  Goalkeeper Luis Herrera made two saves to preserve his shutout.  With the win the Clippers move to 5-0 in the conference and will Face conference opponent Univ. Maine Augusta on Monday night.
