Machias, ME- The University of Maine at Machias men's basketball team needed some end of game heroics to beat Paul Smith's College 87-82. The Clippers were behind 82-72 with 2:32 to go in the game before running off 15 straight points to finish the game. The Clippers were able to force the Bobcats into 4 turnovers the last two and a half minutes and were able to make some clutch shots to pull off the victory. The Clippers were also able to take advantage of the free throw line making 19 of 23. Jeremy Tolbert came off the bench to score 23 points and had 3 steals. Zach Armstrong scored 18 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. Hampton Mack had 14 points and 6 rebounds while Will Lewis led the team in assists with 9. The Bobcats were led by Stephen Edwards with 29 points. The Clippers return to action again Sunday morning at 11 am with a rematch against Paul Smith College.
