Brac Brady - Head Coach - 6th Season
Brac Brady came to UM-Machias in the fall of 2005 as the Head Men's Basketball Coach, Cross Country Coach and Assistant Athletic Director.  Since that time, shift in responsibilities have placed Brady as the universities Athletic Director in May of 2008 while continuing to head the men's basketball program.  In five seasons as the head men's basketball coach Brady has led the Clippers to a 83-53 record and a regular season Sunrise Conference Championship in 2007.  Brady was named Sunrise Conference Coach of the year in 2008-09 and 2009-10.  Brady has also served UM-Machias as an adjunct instructor in mathematics and as the Director of EEO.

Brady came to UM-Machias from Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida, where he served as head men's basketball coach from 1999-2005.  While at Manatee, Brady took a program that had a winless season and guided it to an 18-win season in 2003-04.  Brady also served as an assistant coach for one season, in 1998-99, prior to being named head coach at MCC.

In addition to his duties as head men's basketball coach, Brady assisted in the mathematics department at MCC as an instructional assistant and was an adjunct physical education instructor from 1998 to 2003.  He also served as a mathematics teacher at Bayshore High School in Bradenton, concurrent with his coaching work at MCC.

A Dean's list student and 1996 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Secondary Education, Brady earned Acedemic All-American honors while a member of the men's basketball team.  He was a three year started for the Sailfish, and completed his collegiate career with school records for three-pointers in a game, season, and career.  Brady was named PBAC's rookie athlete of the year in 1994. 

Brady received his masters degree in Physical Education and Teacher Education from Florida State University in 1997. 

Brady resides in Machias with his wife Bridgitte.

Brad Galley - Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Brad Galley is in his third season with the Clipper basketball program.  Brad is no stranger to college basketball in the state of Maine.  In 1999-2001 he was a dominant player at Eastern Maine Community College.  While at EMCC, he received all-state honors and all-northern new england honors in 2001.  He also led the team to the 2000 Small College Athletic Association Conference Championship and a national tournament appearance.  Brad then took his talent to Husson College where he played from 2001-03.  While at Husson he was a part time starter on two regular season conference championship teams and played in two national tournaments.  Brad received a bachelors degree in business administration from Husson College in 2003.

Brad resides in East Machias with his fiance Danielle Case and their twin boys Cohen and Carter.  Brad works at Machias Savings Bank in the Commercial Banking Department. 

Kenny Johnson Image
Kenny Johnson - Assistant Coach - 5th Season
Kenny Johnson is a well known name among basketball circles in Maine.  In high school Kenny led the Machias High School team to the 1988 Class D Maine State Championship where he was named to the all-tournament team.  Since that time he has been a dominant player in men's tournaments and leagues across the state.

Kenny received his college education at the University of Maine at Orono.  In 1992, he completed his bachelors degree in Political Science.  One year later, he finished a masters degree in History and in 2002 earned a CAS in Educational Leadership.  Kenny brought his education back to the Machias area  for his professional career.  He started as a teacher at Machias High School and served as head boys basketball coach from 1998-2001.  In 2001, he became an assistant coach for the Clippers under then head coach Matt Lash.  Kenny served the program for two seasons before taking a break from coaching.   In 2006, current head coach Brac Brady brought Kenny back to the program as an assistant coach.  Kenny's work with the program has been vital to the success of the program and helped lead the Clippers to the 2007 regular season Sunrise Conference Championship.

Kenny currently resides in Marshfield and works as the Curriculum Coordinator for School Union 102.

William Falvey - Student Assistant - 4th Season
Will Falvey is in his fourth season as a student assistant with the men's basketball program.  Will is a non-traditional student majoring in Behavioral Science.  Before coming to Machias, Will coached at Ellsworth Middle School(ME) for 2 seasons and at the YMCA in Ellsworth for 8 years.  Will has also been around the game as an official for the last 12 years.  Will resides in Wesley with his fiance Julie Smith and their three children Davey, Ben and Areeonna.

Cassie Craven - Manager - 3rd Season

Cassie is the daughter of Rhonda and David Craven and sister to Travis, Barret, Lacie and Candace. She was born on May 12, 1990 in Ellsworth, Maine. Cassie is a junior majoring in Biology.

Hilary Hopkins - Manager - 3rd Season

Hilary is the daughter of Yvonne and David Hopkins and sister to Cassie and Garrett. She was born on July 7, 1989 in Machias, Maine. Hilary is a senior majoring in Psychology.
