With the end of the 2008-09 Clippers Basketball season, I'd like to take a moment to recognize the work of our student athletes and their coaches. Thank you - Tony, John, and Brac - for working with these young men and women over the past few months.  Clipper Athletics does an excellent job of representing UMM, whether at home or on the road, and your efforts are much appreciated.

Please join me in congratulating Brac Brady, Head Coach for Men's Basketball.  At the Sunrise Conference Banquet last weekend, Brac was recognized as Coach of the Year.  Well deserved.

Also, UMM's Women's Basketball Team received the Team Sportsmanship Award, indicative of the integrity and solid values of our women student athletes.

And finally, Eric Righter was recognized as a Second Team member of the All-Sunrise Conference Team. Eric was a team leader and critically important factor in the men's 20-8 overall season record. Congratulations, Eric.
