The Lady Clippers swept the series with Unity College on the road
Thursday night with a convincing 83-16 win. The starting line up
featured 4 freshman and a sophomore with underclassmen coming off the
bench. steals while Kayla Wood had 10 points and 4 assists. Elisa Boyd
barely missed double digits adding 9 points and 4 steals.
Four Lady Clippers reached double digit scoring led by Sabree Rodriguez
with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and a game high 6 assists and Jamyriah
McPherson with 20 points. Carilla Fritz added 17 points and a game high
11 steals while Kayla Wood had 10 points and 4 assists. Elisa Boyd
barely missed double digits adding 9 points and 4 steals.
With semester exams approaching the Lady Clippers find themselves above .500 for the first time in several seasons heading into the break. They return to action with a Canadian tour of 4 games beginning January 4th at the University of Prince Edward in Charlottetown.
