Cardinal Stritch University of Wisconsin proved they are worthy of their preseason ranking as they dominated both ends of the court taking an easy 96-31 victory over host University of Maine at Machias Sunday afternoon at the Reynolds Center. The win gives them a 2-0 record and drops the Lady Clippers to 2-1.

The combination of full court pressure and fast-breaking offense by the visitors proved too much as the host Clippers settled for quick shots and failed to transition back on defense, allowing the Wisconsin team to get easy looks which they took advantage of in route to shooting 53 percent for the game including over 60 percent from the three point line.

The Lady Clippers return to action Tuesday at the Reynolds Center with a 5 pm tip-off against Mt. Allison.
