The Lady Clippers moved to 2-0 as they rolled past an undermanned Unity College team 94-21 on Thursday night at the Reynolds Center. The upside in addition to the win was plenty of playing time as the bench was cleared early. The result was five Lady Clippers reaching double figure scoring led by Sabree Rodriguez (23), Jamyriah McPherson (13), Kayla Wood (12), and Liron Albag and Ashley Johnson with 10 each. Another bright spot was Wood recording six assists in limited playing time as she shifts to the point guard position.
The Lady Clippers have two days to prepare for a huge test on the early season as they face Cardinal Stritch University of Wisconsin which enters the season ranked 24 in the NAIA preseason polls on Sunday at 1 pm at the Reynolds Center.
