Erin O'Connor and the Clippers fought the Clippers and the elements on Saturday.
(Machias, ME)  The Clippers had to fight the weather as well as their opponents on Saturday, the Roos from SUNY Canton. SUNY scored first in the contest when Angie Waryosz found the back of the water soaked net.  UMM came back and tied the game in the second half when Amanda Norbie played a ball to Erin O'Connor off a corner kick who put the ball past SUNY's goalkeeper.  SUNY responded shortly after when Kim Taylor scored what would be the game winning goal.  The referees called the game in the 70th minute due to the playing conditions.  The clippers fall to 4-4 in the Sunrise Conference and 6-7 on the year.
