A young Lady Clippers Volleyball team picked up two wins as they traveled to Bennington, Vermont to take on Southern Vermont College on Sunday. The victories came in back to back 3-0 sweeps in the doubleheader matches.

With a line up featuring five freshman, a sophomore, and a senior libero the Lady Clippers held off a gritty Southern Vermont team. Freshman setter Elisa Boyd and outside hitter Robyn Harrison along with freshman middle hitters Jamyriah McPherson and Sabree Rodriguez provided much of the offense. Sophomore Amber Frey had an excellent service day recording several aces and was effective on the right side. Senior libero Alex Kolinich provided excellent passing throughout both matches.

The team hopes to stay on track as they travel to Unity College on Wednesday and then make their home debut during homecoming in a round robin event on Saturday September 26th as they host Thomas college, Husson College, and Presque Isle with matches beginning at 10 am.
