Coach John Duncan has announced the signing of Sabree Rodriguez to a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Lady Clippers. The Massachusetts Big Three League All Star led her Brockton High School team to the league championship and the Massachusetts Division I South Championship before falling to eventual Division I state champion Central Catholic.
In addition to being chosen as a Big Three league All Star, Rodriguez was also named to the Brockton Enterprise News all star team. She averaged a double-double for the season including 12.8 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. She is the daughter of Andrea and Lorenzo Rodriguez of Brockton.
According to Coach Duncan, "Sabree is a versatile athlete who can score, rebound, and defend. She has the potential to make an immediate impact and her tremendous athleticism will allow her to continue to develop her skills." The Lady Clippers compete in the Sunrise Conference composed of teams in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine.
